Mithun Chakraborty, who made a niche of his own, shared his thoughts on nepotism with NDTV. He said, "I have never promoted my children. I told them 'you have to fight your own battles'. Ultimately talent will speak. If you don't have talent, you will be told to sit at home. But if a big heroine's daughter debuts and becomes a big star, she has talent. How can you deny that? Talent will rule in all the fields."
